Having trained and worked as a chef since the age of 15, Chobdar began his career as a kitchen helper before joining the prestigious Pearl Continental Hotel where he received formal kitchen training in different techniques and cuisines. Over the years, he has developed an interest in fusion and continental cuisines. However, he is also adept at preparing Chinese and Pakistani food. He loves cooking, and aims to keep trying new things to continue expanding his knowledge.
Chobdar is happy that UFS gives him the opportunities to further polish his skills while continuing to give him a deeper perspective of the chef’s world. His hobbies include reading and playing chess.
Started in 1999, Basit has not given up his search for new ideas and great concepts. His search started with Dar-al-tauheed, where three months’ training provided him a decent entry to food business. He worked with Pearl Continental-Pindi, and Marriott Islamabad in different positions before coming to Unilever Foodsolutions a year and a half before.
He loves playing cricket, and likes to watch food shows. He seeks ways to bring creativity in his work. He is fond of net surfing, and reading books regarding food.
