Experience

Phil Neverman has more than 22 years experience in hospitality and has recently taken the position of National Sales Chef with Unilever Foodsolutions. Prior to this position at Unilever Phil held the position of Executive Chef at two Auckland City Hotels for a period of 11 years. He is a well known and respected Chef throughout New Zealand.

Phil’s attitude and passion for food is obvious in his involvement in all areas of the industry. He currently still teaches at Auckland’s Institute of Technology’s school of Hospitality – passing on his knowledge and skills to the younger generation. “I love the dynamics of the food industry and feel privileged to be able to be involved in the future of New Zealand cuisine.” Says Phil.

His involvement in the hospitality industry does not finish there – A member of the judge’s panel at the New Zealand Culinary Fare for the past 8 years, including Chief Judge 2007. Phil is also an ambassador for the New Zealand Chefs association, where he regularly represents NZ in Asia.

Rugby & following the All Blacks. I recently won the most valuable player of the year award. My family and spending as much time with my kids and their different interests.
